Tips to look Slim..!

There are times when you take a break from your sensible-eating and exercise regime and want to just lie back and enjoy all those forbidden foods. Well then you are bound to put on weight but until you have worked towards reducing the excess weight you can follow these few tips to look slim.

~ Stand comfortably erect and stick your stomach in. Good posture always makes you look slimmer.
~ Dark colours such as olive, black, charcoal grey, and navy help make areas appear smaller so wear them where you think you need it. For most women it's from the waist down.
~ Avoid shiny or heavily textured fabrics. Shiny fabrics reflect light, making any area appear larger. Heavily texture fabrics only add extra weight.
~ Sewn-down pleats in skirts and blouses can both create a slimming effect. Include vertical lines in your accessories, such as long chains worn around the neck.
~ Avoid extensive use of horizontal lines - belts, boat-collar blouses and border print skirts. These styles can add extra width to your body frame.
~ Your best asset is your face; so draw attention to it with scarves and jewellery worn around the face.
` Introduce simple lines, such as A-line skirts, tailor-notched, collared blouses and blazers. The oversized blazer is a great solution for camouflaging large derrieres and hips. Double-pleated skirts and trousers mask protruding stomachs and provide comfort as well.
~ If you want to appear thinner incorporate dark, cool and dull colours and textures. Dull textures absorb the light like wool or cotton. Some very slimming colours include black, navy, olive, violet, charcoal grey, chocolate brown, plum, eggplant and burgundy.

perfect lips

Nothing impresses your friends more than a perfect lip line, because it is the hardest makeup application to do.To get it, avoid applying the lip pencil too heavily, which will be difficult to blend and soften into the lipstick. Keeping your mouth closed lightly trace the lip line with the lip pencil so it can barely be seen, but can be used as a guide line.

Hold the brush horizontally to trace along the lip line, and do a little bit at a time, backing up and going over it again. Don't try to get the whole line in one stroke. The best lip brush is a sable with a slightly tapered edge, not straight one.

This provides more control and a cleaner line.If you are really pressed for time, apply lipstick only on the bottom lip and press your lips together. Then, blend out to the lip line with the edge of a lip brush, not the tip, for a precise line, or use a dampened cotton swab for a soft, natural lip line.

When finished, instead of blotting the lips by biting a tissue, lay the tissue across both lips while your mouth is closed. This will imprint your lips, including the edges of the mouth where lipstick usually bleeds. Perfect!

Cost of Laser Hair Removal

Cost of Laser Hair Removal

The cost of laser hair removal is certainly a major consideration in deciding whether to undergo treatment.

Costs depend on a variety of factors including geography, the kind of laser being used and the amount of hair you are seeking to have removed. Costs can also be determined by the amount of time the various sessions take, which body part you are having done, and what type of payment package you choose.

For example, you might be eligible for certain discounts for paying in advance. Be an informed consumer. Research carefully the various options available in your area before you pick a treatment center.

Remember that price isn't the only factor to consider. Don't pinch pennies when it comes to quality of service. Also, make sure you have a realistic sense of cost BEFORE you begin a treatment program. That means discussing with the clinician how many treatments you'll likely need.

The cost of laser hair removal is the most common laser hair removal question that hair lasers.com gets. Below is a discussion of how laser hair removal clinics decide the prices for laser hair removal and why.

The price of laser hair removal varies greatly according the uniqueness of each person. All patterns of hair growth are unique. Therefore the results of laser hair removal and the cost of laser hair removal will also be unique. That is why some clinics want you to come in for a consultation before they quote laser hair removal pricing.

Some male back hair may grow in densely and evenly with thick hair shafts while other back hair may grow in sparsely and in patches of fine hair. Of course there are all variables of hair growth in between. All women have some facial hair. Some women have facial hair that is noticeable only because it is thicker and darker than someone who has fine, light hair. Other women have facial hair because of hormonal factors.

Laser hair removal pricing structures can vary from clinic to clinic, but often the various quotes for laser hair removal pricing will be the same or similar in the end. Here are some ways that laser hair removal clinics decide on the cost of laser hair removal:

Flat Fee
Laser hair removal prices are sometimes made on a flat fee basis. The flat fee might be on a per treatment basis or a package of treatments basis. It could mean that all men's backs are $500 per treatment all of the time no matter how much hair you have on your back, or it that per treatment flat fee could be based on your particular back hair growth patterns. The clinic might charge for a flat fee package of treatments which may or may not vary according to the individual's body hair growth patterns.

Time
Similar to the common pricing structure of electrolysis some laser clinics charge per 15 minute segment for laser hair removal. Let's say a clinic charges $100 per 15 minute segment of laser hair removal. If a man's back takes about an hour (see chart of average times to remove body hair) it would cost $400 per treatment. Of course the cost of hair removal will be affected by the amount of hair to be removed, and the speed of the laser technician and the speed of the laser hair removal machine.

Fee per pulse
Laser hair removal pricing can be based on the number of pulses that it takes to complete an area of body hair. Each time the laser fires, it is called "a pulse." One pulse takes about one second and can remove more or less than a hundred hairs and can range from the area of a dime to the area of a quarter. Some laser clinics charge by the pulse. For example, a laser clinic might charge a dollar per pulse with a minimum fee per area. A bikini might cost $300 based on a minimum charge of $150 which includes the first 150 pulses and a dollar per pulse thereafter. You only get charged for actual pulses unless you have fewer pulses than the minimum. As you progress in your series of laser hair removal treatments, your price per treatment may decline as you have less hair to be removed. Different lasers have different spot sizes and will therefore have different prices per pulse.

Body Hair Removal Guide

Body Hair Removal Guide

Excessive body hair on men and women can be embarrassing and upsetting and can take a toll on self esteem. But people shouldn't let unwanted body hair stand in the way of their happiness.

There are many ways to get rid of unwanted body hair, including shaving, waxing, depilatories, electrolysis, and laser hair removal. Each has its advantage and disadvantages and which to choose is a highly personal decision.

This guide offers some advantages and disadvantages of various methods and can help you decide which one might work best for you. Keep in mind that hair removal is often not permanent and is a continual process.

Shaving

Of all the methods of hair removal, shaving is the most temporary. Shaving merely trims the hair at the skin surface and does not affect the hair at its roots.

You should be sure to apply moisturizer to your skin so the razor won't cut you. Many men and women find they have to shave on a daily basis in order to maintain a groomed look. If long-lasting hair removal is your goal, this method is not for you.

Waxing

Waxing is a tried and true method of removing large amounts of hair at one time. Wax can be applied hot or cold. The hair sticks to the wax and comes up when the wax is pulled off. It is fast and can be done at home or at a salon. But it can also be messy, difficult to get consistent results, and you must be careful to avoid infections that can result from burning your skin. What's more, waxing at a salon can be costly.

Typically, waxing can be done on most parts of the body, the exceptions being the male genitals, nipples, inside the ears and nose, and eyelashes. Hair will generally reappear between three and eight weeks. You might find the hair is finer or that some never grows back.

Depilatories

Depilatories are creams or liquids that are applied to the skin's surface, dissolving the hair so that it can be wiped or washed away. Depilatories work quickly — doing the best job on the legs, underarms, and bikini area — and are easily obtainable and inexpensive. But, they only last up to a few weeks, are messy, and often smell bad. Some people are allergic to them. People with coarse hair may not find depilatories particularly effective.

Electrolysis

If you're looking for a permanent solution to hair removal, and have only a small area where you want hair removed, electrolysis may be for you. Keep in mind, however, that many people find it painful. (A topical anesthetic may be applied to ease the pain.)

This procedure requires several treatments during which a professional inserts a needle into the hair follicle, zapping it with an electric current and killing the root.

Electrolysis is the most expensive and takes the most time. Nonetheless, people with certain skin and hair types, for whom laser hair removal is not an option, might find electrolysis the option for them. Expect to pay upwards of $150 an hour for electrolysis.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser Hair Removal

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is the most state-of-the-art and high-tech method in removing unwanted hair for longer and even indefinite periods of time. It is the only proven method available for easily removing hair from large areas of the body including the back, chest, legs and face. Laser hair removal is effective, precise and cost efficient.

That said, depending on your complexion, it may not be for you, as it works better on people with light skin and dark brown or black hair. Experienced laser clinics generally charge between $200 and $600 per session. Large areas, such as the back or legs will cost significantly more, while small areas on the face, for example, may cost less. Your particular situation will determine the exact pricing.

How Laser Hair Removal Works

How Laser Hair Removal Works

If you're interested in laser hair removal, it's important, as a first step, to learn how it works. Laser hair removal technology is the use of an invisible beam of light and a constant source of heat that penetrates the hair follicle, disabling and then destroying it at its root while preserving the surrounding skin.

The procedure of removing unwanted hair is simply targeting the follicle and then directing the laser beam at its root. The hair removal process begins as the laser beam finds the hair follicle that it is targeting by first finding the melanin (the dark color of the hair).

Who can benefit from Laser Hair Removal?

Laser hair removal works best on those people with dark hair and fair skin.

Melanin is also found in skin, so those people with dark skin either from suntans or by birth will not be ideal candidates for laser hair removal. Neither will red headed or light blond haired people — simply because the laser is solely attracted to the darkness of the hair.

Laser hair removal is most successful when the hair is in its anagen phase (the phase when a hair follicle is its active growth). This phase lasts several years — 85% of our hair is in that phase at any given time. During this phase, the hair is easily targeted and more easily destroyed.

Are there any problems with Laser Hair Removal?

Unlike other hair removal methods such as electrolysis, waxing and, of course, shaving, laser hair removal is the most state-of-the-art and high-tech method in removing unwanted hair for longer (and even indefinite) periods of time. It is the only proven method available for easily removing hair from mass areas of the body including back, chest, legs and face. Laser hair removal is effective, precise and cost efficient.

The laser simply and directly pinpoints the root of the hair and removes it from the body. Although the process is precise and beneficial, it can be irritating to the skin — therefore it is important that the surrounding skin be cooled with a gel, a spray or a cooling device throughout the procedure. These cooling systems prevent the laser beam from causing harm or discomfort to the surrounding skin.

Types of Lasers

There are currently four types of lasers used for hair removal:

  • Alexandrite – such as the Candela GentleLase Plus
  • Ruby – such as the EpiTouch or Epilaser
  • Diode – such as the Coherent Light Sheer
  • ND and LP ND Yag – such as the Candela GentleYag and the Altus Cool Glide

Each of these techniques is FDA-approved and proven effective, fast and safe methods for successful hair removal and permanent hair reduction.

What to look for

Although it is the work of the laser that removes the hair follicle, successful laser hair removal depends upon the skill and knowledge of the technician who manipulates and maneuvers the laser. That is, once the laser is selected, it is the mastery of the technician that will yield the best results.

Now let's better understand the technique involved. Words like pulse, fluency and time are imperative to you, the consumer. These techniques will ensure that your experience is comfortable and effective.

For instance, long pulsed lasers are considered to be the safest. Energy and fluency levels of the laser can be specified depending on your personal skin type. The time allowed between pulses of light allows the skin and follicle to cool for longer periods of time, making your experience more pleasant. The size of the area on your skin's surface affects the speed and penetration of the laser — a larger area allows the technician to go deeper into the root of the hair follicle, which can give you better results per session.

Laser hair removal is not a one-time procedure. But, in just a few sessions, you can feel like a different person. The power of the laser is unchallenged by any other hair removal method available.

Back Hair Removal

Back Hair Removal
Back Hair Removal

Back hair removal can be a real lifestyle and health benefit. As anyone with back hair knows, it's not pretty, and it can even increase body odor. Sometimes back hair can irritate the skin, making it itchy and, in some cases, causing infection. Laser removal for men and, in particular, back hair removal is a good option for several reasons:

  • First, laser hair removal, while not fool-proof, offers a more permanent method than others (such as shaving, waxing and creams) which have various limitations. The back, for example, is hard to reach, making shaving on your own difficult. Waxing, meanwhile, can irritate the skin (not to mention that it's rather painful).
  • Many athletic men enjoy the benefits of laser hair removal to achieve better results in their respective sports. What's more, athletes may not want to bury their attractive muscles underneath a thick coating of hair — so back hair removal is a viable option.
  • Laser hair removal for back hair is not perfect, but there are advantages.
    • One laser session can cover the whole back and, in four to six treatments, patients will see significant results that will be further improved with continued treatments.
    • Even men with thicker, coarse hair can see results through laser hair removal. This is particularly important to people who find the hair on their back irritating.

Keep in mind that laser hair treatment works best for people with dark hair and light skin. For those who don't fit those criteria, electrolysis may work. During electrolysis, a needle is inserted into one hair follicle at a time, destroying the follicle with an electrical current. It's a time-consuming method, however, and it is not a permanent solution — and it's more painful than laser treatment.

Seven Steps of Makeup

1. Avoid wearing too much

Makeup is meant to enhance features not bring negative attention to you. That's what wearing too much makeup will do; it will bring you unwanted attention. Don't wear too much of anything such as:

(i). Eyeliner : dark, thick eyeliner will make you look overdone and will ruin the rest of your makeup.

(ii). Mascara : too much mascara looks fake and will flake. It looks especially bad if worn with thick eyeliner or dark blue eye eye shadow.

(iii). Foundation : Make sure your foundation is the same color as your skin. Foundation is

meant to protect and give the face a smooth look. The magic word is blend.

(iv). Powder: The same holds true for powder - not too much. Also, be sure to blend your makeup so there are no obvious lines.

Image

2. Lips

Apply lip liner to completely cover the lips, add color and your lipstick will stay on much longer. Make sure your lip liner doesn't show. Also, your lip color should match your skin tone; wear cool colors if you have cool coloring and warm colors if you have warm coloring. If you want to make your lips look smaller, keep your liner on the inside of your lips. However, if you decide to make your lips look larger, going outside the natural outline of you lips is a mistake. This can look quite messy and unnatural.

3. Appropriate makeup

Wear makeup that is appropriate for the occasion. If you are going to the beach you shouldn't wear the same or as much makeup as you would if you were going dancing. Also, when you are in daylight your makeup should be a lighter than when you are out for the evening.

4. Too little or no makeup

Some women don't wear makeup because they are not sure how to use it and are afraid of being overdone. If you are unsure, start will light colours in your shade. Start slowly and add one product at a time. Maybe start with foundation, add mascara, blush or lipstick. If you are not used to wearing makeup, using a lot a first may be a little too much for you, so start slowly. The bottom line is a little is better than none. If you are still unsure seek professional advice.

5. Overall look

When your makeup is completed it should look natural. That means avoiding colours that clash. If you have dark skin and hair you will look better in darker shades; light colours will make you look washed out. If your hair and skin tone are light, light colours will look better on you. Dark makeup will make you look older and harsh. If you haveoily skin, first use oil control moisturizer and foundation. Then be sure to wear loose powder, keeping pressed powder with you for touch ups .

6. Hair color

Your hair color should also be in harmony with your skin. If you have dark hair and you want to add color, keep it close to the same shade. If you have light hair, use light colors. As you age your skin will lighten, so should your hair color. One last thing about hair color - if you do color you hair be sure you keep it up, don't let your roots show.

7. One last thing

Keep makeup looking fresh all day by doing regular touch ups. Don't let your makeup fade or crease. Smile!!!

Jeans

Jeans the perfect fit

Jeans has always been the favourite in the fashion world. Jeans is available in different styles, cut and has become an all purpose wear. However to flaunt your figure you need to wear the pair that fits you best. You need to pick the pair of jeans that fit you perfectly and make you look amazing. Well it is not that difficult………all you have to do is try on several pair to find just the right style and fit. Also follow these guidelines.

Tall/slim figure:

Perfect jeans: Look for styles that are plain and simple with straight legs. If you want to draw attention to your long legs then go for a style with a flared leg or design along the outside length of the jean.

Avoid: Jeans with a tapered leg. This will only accentuate the size of your feet (and taller girls often have big feet) and make your legs look strange.

Long Torso:

Prefect jeans: In your body type it is very difficult to choose the perfect jeans. Ideally you should go for a pair of jeans with a defined waist that will make your bottom half look longer and leaner. Also wear a belt since it will define your body shape perfectly.

Avoid: Jeans with a long, bulky or tight crotch
Pear-Shaped:

Perfect jeans: Go for styles with a flared leg, boot cut or pattern around the ankle area.

Avoid: Jeans that are tight around the thigh area and tapered or baggy styles.

Wide Hips:

Perfect jeans: Choose a jean with a low-rise waist and a slight flare at the leg to help to balance your silhouette. Go for jeans with a bit of stretch and make sure they have large back pockets.

Avoid: Styles with really big or really small back pockets and detailing across the back.

Petite:

Perfect jeans: Go for a pair with straight legs, worn on the long side, to help give you a taller silhouette. To make your legs look longer wear heels with a boot leg style, and make sure you go for dark-coloured jeans.

Avoid: If you’re after a pair of jeans that will make your legs look longer, avoid styles with cuffs and Capri pants.
Short-waisted:
Perfect jeans: Go in for hipsters or super-hipsters. Low-slung, hipster styles will give you the illusion of having a longer torso.

Avoid: Jeans with a zip more than 3 inches long and jeans with fringe or embellishment along the waistband.

Plus-size:

Perfect jeans: Go for dark-coloured jeans with a straight leg, boot cut or flare.

Avoid: Light-coloured jeans and styles that feature patterning down the legs. Also avoid jeans with pleats and elastic waists, as well as baggy styles

Papaya face pack:

Apply 2 tablespoons of papaya pulp on your face and let it dry. Then wash off with lukewarm water. One can also mix lemon juice in it.

choose your Hair Style

One of the most important factors of hairstyle suitability is face shape analysis.

Why is this so important? Simply put, if the wrong hairstyle is created for the wrong face shape, the result is a disaster. In fact, even if a well executed, well cut hairstyle is performed on the wrong face shape, the result is still a disaster. Why again you ask? Because hairstyles are predominately about shape and geometry. It's all about putting the perfect frame around a person's face to balance and bring perspective to the overall shape.

The shape must minimize non pleasing attributes while promoting and complimenting positive ones. Once this important objective is achieved, then bringing the hairstyle to life with texture and colors should follow. This is all usually done by hairstylists. A good hairstylist will just know instinctively what shape will or won't suit you. It is also very important and handy for you to understand face shape suitability as well as it will help you to understand what does and does not work for you and why. It will also help you to communicate better with your stylist and to keep them somewhat honest.

There is a general rule that applies to face shape balancing and it is that you should try to achieve an oval shape, which is the most perfect and pleasing shape to the human eye. To do this, long faces need shortening, just as wide faces need lengthening. It’s quite simple really!!

Find the best match from the following descriptions.
It's important to remember that even though your face may not be an exact match of any single shape,
it will resemble one shape over all.

Oval Face Shape:
Curvilinear shape. Length is equal to one and a half times width,
with forehead and jaw the same width.

Round Face Shape:
Circular shaped. Length is approximately equal to width

Oblong Face Shape:
Face is longer than it is wide with a long straight cheek line.

Square Face Shape:
Strong and broad forehead with angular jaw.

Heart Face Shape:
Wide at the forehead and cheekbones, narrow at the jawline.

Diamond Face Shape:
Forehead and jawline are narrow with wide and high cheekbones

Triangular Face Shape:
Forehead and cheekbones are narrow with a wide jawline.

If you find that you have an oval face shape, then you’re in luck!
Having an oval face shape means that you can wear your hair in almost any style.

Hairstyles To Try: Any shape and style can be worn, whether it’s short, long, layered or bobbed.
The only thing to consider with an oval face shape is what part of your face you want to accentuate.
This is where you can get creative with bangs or how you style your hair everyday

Hairstyles To Avoid: The main thing to consider is to not choose hairstyles that hang in your face, eyes, or that just cover over your beautiful face shape.
With a square face shape, your main aim should be to soften your strong jawline.

Hairstyles To Try: Wispy forward falling hair onto your face will soften your jaw line,
while wearing bangs swept over to one side will create diagonal movement to minimize square shapes.
Short to medium length hair will also suit you,
especially if the style is rounded in shape or has wispy ends.
Styles with height at the crown will work in your favor also.

Hairstyles To Avoid: Avoid blunt bobs, especially sitting at chin length with straight heavy bangs as this will accentuate your jaw line and squareness.
Middle parts with solid bangs can also work against you[/b]

Heart face shapes need to add some length to their shape and to create width around narrow chins.

Hairstyles To Try: Any textured chin-length hairstyles will suit best.
If bangs are wanted make sure that they are side swept not straight across as blunt ones will only make your face shape shorter and wider.
Shoulder length cuts with wispy layers that kick out will also work very well.
Height on top will work but only if they belong to shoulder length or longer hairstyles.

Hairstyles To Avoid: Short, full hairstyles like slicked back looks that emphasize your upper face,
and short styles with heavy straight across bangs that create an upside down triangular shape.

With a triangular face shape the object is to narrow your chin and widen your forehead.

Hairstyles To Try: Layered hairstyles will help balance and soften your prominent jaw line.
Styles with layers that taper at the jaw line can also be flattering.

Hairstyles To Avoid: Shorter is generally better than longer.
Avoid any hairstyle which will draw too much attention to your chin area such as straight solid bob cuts.
Diamond face shapes need to balance a narrow chin, minimize wider cheek bones and shorten the overall length.

Hairstyles To Try: Hairstyles that add width at the chin area such as chin length bob cuts or shoulder length wispy kicked out looks.
Styles that tuck in behind the ears also work well to show off a wonderful cheek bone structure.
Hairstyles with straight across bangs will also work to shorten long faces, as will side parts.

Hairstyles To Avoid: Try and avoid short hairstyles with height on top, particularly ones without bangs.
Avoid styles that leave no hair on the neck area or the chin area.
Middle parts will add length so they should also be avoided.
The object is to add length and avoid width.

Hairstyles To Try: Hairstyles with height and fullness at the crown will give the illusion of a narrower face shape, particularly those short in length. Longer hairstyles or ones that are kept close to the cheeks with no width will look better. Middle parts are great for creating the illusion of narrow length. No bangs are the ideal as the focus point becomes the bridge of the nose, creating a more oval shape. If bangs are used they should be swept across, or in the case of solid bangs, only where there is substantial height on the top. Short hairstyles are great and do not suffocate small round faces.

Hairstyles To Avoid: Hairstyles that add volume through the sides such as chin length bob cuts, straight or kicking out in design. Side parts and heavy straight across bangs create a wider shorter shape and therefore should be avoided at all costs on hairstyles without any height.
The object is to add width to minimize vertical length.

Hairstyles To Try: Styles that are short to medium in length with longer top layers without height are best suited such as wedge and graduated bob cuts.
Chin and shoulder length looks that turn under or kick out also work very well to add width.
Straight across bangs with side parts work best.
Layered styles in medium and long lengths that add body in with wavy and curly textures are great for softening the straight long lines of oblong face shapes.

Hairstyles To Avoid: Hairstyles that add height at the crown or on top will only lengthen your face,
as will middle parts and the absence of bangs.
Wispy chin length styles that have no body or that don't add width through the sides should also be avoided.

Secrets of great hair

Good hair is not an impossibility - all you need to do is take care of it. Here are some pointers

1. De-frizz!

On weekends or once in a fortnight, dab an intensive conditioner or coat your hair with protein liquid (available at beauty salons as a power dose treatment for hair).

Applying good Jojoba oil at the ends of your hair or the frizziest parts of your hair is another good option.

Pin up your hair or wrap it in plastic and sleep on it. This will restore the absent moisture and control the frizz.

2. Ensure your hair is completely dry before you step out

When wet hair is exposed to direct sunlight, it can get damaged. It might result in hair fall and discolouration.

3. Avoid hair dryers and hot curling tools. Try a desi trick!

Hair dryers and hot curling tools heat up your hair and tend to make it dry.

If you really want to go for the curly look, braid your hair when semi-wet.

This will settle into beautiful waves when dry.

4. Be careful with those hair serums

Do not overuse shine products to control frizzes -- they often contain silicone that can coat your hair after just a few applications and can prove harmful.

5. Swim safe and use the sun to your advantage!

A summer swim can be blissful. But chlorinated water can play havoc with your hair.

To prevent damage, wet your hair with tap water before you swim. The more wet your hair before you swim, the less salt water and chlorine it will absorb.

After the swim, rinse out the chlorinated water. And comb a dollop of deep-conditioning treatment on your hair. Let the heat of the sun help the treatment penetrate.

6. Stay dandruff-free

Not washing hair properly, frequent use of hair sprays and gels, excessive use of hot curling irons, poor hair-friendly diet or even stress can cause dandruff.

So stay clean and nourished and steer clear off dandruff.

Dr Prashant K Palwade, a consultant dermatologist, reveals that dandruff not only leads to itchiness and irritation of the scalp, it can also cause problems like acne, skin rashes and hair loss.

He says, "It is not necessary to use an anti-dandruff shampoo if the dandruff is not excessive. Use a shampoo that is suitable for your hair, regularly, and keep your hair squeaky clean. That is good enough to drive dandruff away.

"Use an anti-dandruff shampoo only if the dandruff is excessive. Continue the use for two months after the dandruff is gone. Shampoos with lemon and olive oil extract are particularly good for dandruff-prone hair."

Sunsilk Anti-Dandruff shampoo (Rs 37, 100 ml); Clinic All Clear Dandruff Shampoo (Rs 125, 200 ml); Head & Shoulders Anti-Dandruff Shampoo (Rs 122, 200 ml) are good bets.

Neutrogena Shampoo is a medicated anti-dandruff shampoo that works well as well.

Note: Anti-dandruff shampoos are harsh on your hair, so make sure you use a good conditioner after you shampoo it.
